Solidarity Home is the easiest way to help the Entities, without costing you money or effort

What is this and how does it work?

 

A “HOME PAGE» is the one that appears by default when you open the browser of our computer. Already use Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari.

In www.solidarityhome.org we have solidarity “home pages” of different NGOs / Entities.

Choose the one you want, set it as the homepage and the Entity will automatically receive income every time you browse the Internet, it’s that simple.

How do we do it?

 

On each page we have included a small and discreet space for advertising. How the hundreds you find browsing every day.

Google publishes ads in that space and pays a small amount of euros to the NGO / Entity each time they are displayed.

  • Google and its search bar have become an essential element in our day to day and, therefore, is the protagonist of our Home Pages.

Safe

We use Google Safe Search
  • A special coding of the Google search bar that eliminates from the results all those pages cataloged by «for adults», for safe browsing.

Discreet

Not attracting attention
  • Solidarity Home Pages are very similar to the Google search page, so no one will realize that you are using them. Log in to your browser as usual.

  • Every time you open an internet session, you will be earning income, for the NGO / Entity you have chosen, without realizing it. You only need 2 minutes 1 time in your life to set the Home page.

Firefox
  1. Open the website of the Entity that you want to get as the home page
  2. Drag and drop the tab on the Start button  
  3. Click Yes to establish that website as your home page.

And that’s it! From now on, the Entity you have chosen will receive income every time you open an Internet session.

Google Chrome
  1. Open the website of the Entity that you want to get as the home page
  2. In the upper right, click on More  
  3. Click on Settings.
  4. In «When you open the browser …», click Open a specific page or set of pages.
  5. Click on Set pages
  6. Click on the “Use current pages” button
  7. This will open the home page of the chosen Entity every time you start the search engine, not every time you open a new window. At the moment this option is not available.

You can customize the «Home» button    so that when you open a window, by clicking on this icon, you can go to the website of your chosen Entity.

  1. In the upper right, click on More  
  2. Click on Settings
  3. In «Appearance»
  4. Activate “Show home page button” button  
  5. Enter the custom web address

Safari
  1. Open the home page of the Entity of your choice
  2. In the top menu of SAFARI, click on “Safari”
  3. When the menu is displayed, click on «preferences»
  4. Select «General»
  5. Where you put the home page, click on the “Use current page” button

Internet Explorer
  1. Open the home page of the Entity of your choice
  2. select the «Tools» button  and then select «Internet Options»
  3. On the «General» tab, on «Home Page
  4. Select «Apply» and then «OK»

And that’s it! From now on, the Entity you have chosen will receive income every time you open an Internet session.

Android

If you have an Android

  1. Click on the browser menu you use
  2. Look for the «Add to main screen» or «Add to start» option
  3. The access icon will be created on the main screen as if it were one more APP
  4. Drag the icon to the main menu.

And that’s it! From now on, the Entity you have chosen will receive income every time you open an Internet session.

iPhone

If you have an iPhone

Safari

  1. Click on the share button  
  2. Click on «start screen»  
  3. Save it with the name you prefer. We recommend «Internet»
  4. Now it will appear on the screen as if it were one more APP
  5. Keep the icon pressed until you can move it and replace the Safari icon in the lower menu.
